3 Words to Describe My Teaching Style:

Playful, balanced, creative

My music style:

Soulful tunes, rhythmic music, hip hop, I love r&b and gospel choirs, I also love drum and bass, anything that feels funkyyyyy

I fly with Jaybird Because:

Jaybird means so much to me, for real. It’s the studio that I’ve taught at that I feel resonates the most with the style that I like to teach. The community and clients are committed to their personal growth and practice. I love that we all get to release in cathartic ways to really loud and groovy music. I feel lighter after every class I teach and this space genuinely inspires me to be a better teacher.

My journey to jaybird:

I became a student of yoga asana when I was 15 and stumbled across a class at the local YMCA. Ever since, I have been committed to the practice and learning different modalities of movement. Working in a corporate job in 2020 I was burnt out and quit my whole life to travel to India to do my YTT. I never intended to teach but I have a teaching background in scuba diving and I enjoy sharing any practice that encourages individuals to make empowered choices in and for their bodies. In 2023, I realized that the passion I have for using movement and breath as tools for processing life’s struggles and joys was my personal mission to share and decided to start teaching full time.

What MiNdfulness Means to Me:

Mindfulness to me means being present to what is living and moving in your body right now. It doesn’t mean we need to feel good or bad or label it as anything at all, just allowing yourself to drop in & be in this moment, living the fullness of the human experience.
