3 Words to Describe My Teaching Style:

Fun. Challenging. Supportive.

My music style:

Anything that makes you want to move! Euphoria meets Drake meets Disco meets Fred Again meets early 2000s.

I fly with Jaybird Because:

From my first class at Jaybird in 2019, I was instantly in love. Jaybird offers such a unique experience to turn inward and focus on the sensations and experience within, and removes any kind of comparison. I adore the way that the music is able to have such an impact, and the feeling of being supported as you are in the space. It is such a privilege to now teach in the space, and be trusted to guide students through such a moving experience.

My journey to jaybird:

My teaching journey began in 2019 when I took my Yoga teacher training. I was so excited to get my feet wet teaching, but was unfortunately unable to due to the pandemic. However, I was given the time and space to dive deeper into movement by taking my Pilates training along with my Personal Training certification. When things fully reopened in 2021, I was able to begin teaching full-time, and have been ever since. Now, I teach a variety of styles at a few studios in Vancouver, but primarily teach Yoga, Pilates and Lagree.

My journey to Jaybird, specifically, began the moment I took my first class in 2019, and I dreamed of teaching here from that moment. I began working at the front desk in 2021, and I was given the opportunity to teach the Burn in early 2022. Jaybird is one of my favourite places to move as both a student and a teacher, and I have loved every moment I've spent in this beautiful space

What MiNdfulness Means to Me:

To me, being mindful is being attuned to the current moment. There is no way to do it wrong, and it can look different to everyone. Mindfulness has helped me know myself on a deeper, more vulnerable level by being aware of my experience. Noticing how I feel, breathe or react has helped me find kindness and compassion for myself. I invite students to use mindfulness to be a little kinder to themselves, and find the ways to take what they need.

words to live by:

Trust yourself.
