Is the class suitable for all fitness levels?

All fitness levels are welcome and you can go at your own pace. Always consult with your physician before beginning a new exercise program.

Are there any age restrictions to attend Jaybird?

Minimum age to attend class is 16, and a guardian must be present if you are under 18.

When should I arrive for class?

If it your first visit at the studio, please arrive 15 minutes prior to receive a proper introduction to the studio. Your safety is important to us! If you do not arrive in time for your introduction, you may be asked to reschedule. If you are an existing guest please note that if you have not checked in 3 minutes to the start of class, your spot may be given to the next person on the waitlist.

What if I am running late? Can I still attend class?

Unfortunately, we do not allow late entry to any classes for safety reasons. No exceptions will be made.

Are all the classes done in a heated room?

Yes- all of our classes are done in a heated room to experience the benefits of infra-red. The room is heated between 27 and 35 degrees C for The Build, The Burn and The Booty.

What amenities do you have?

What should I wear and what should I bring?

  • Wear clothes that you are comfortable working out in

  • Bring a water bottle – we have water fountains at each studio and bottled water available for purchase. Please leave any glass bottles at home.

  • No cell phones during classes – turn off to tune in!

  • Jewelry is not a good idea

  • No strong perfumes or colognes, please

  • Towels and mats are provided, but you can bring you own if you prefer!

I am pregnant. Can I attend class?

Congratulations! Ultimately, you need to check this with your doctor first. In any case, we discourage taking class with us throughout your pregnancy as our infrared room does not provide a favourable environment for pregnancy.

How often should I attend class?

We recommend up to 3-4 classes a week to see maximum benefit and to mix it up between our different class types.  Always listen to your body and leave at least one day in between classes for your body to recover.

Are children allowed in the studio?

We do not have childcare on site. Due to safety considerations. limited space and out of respect for the experience of other guests we cannot allow children to accompany you during your class. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

What class should I try first?

What is your body craving – If you are looking to strengthen while stretching our yoga inspired THE BUILD class is for you.  For those who are familiar with a Pilates practice THE BURN is a well-rounded strengthening class. If you're looking for something gentle, we recommend THE BALANCE.

What happens if I lose something at the studio?

Jaybird is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Any items that have been left behind will be held in the lost and found for two weeks, at which point they will be donated.
